Mark 10:6-9

"But at the beginning of creation God 'made them male and female.'' For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.' So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."

well... my cousins made me do it!!!

Every story has a beginning and ours also started with "Once upon a time..."
It was year 2000 when my uncle asked me to help plan the wedding of my eldest female first cousin, Roann. Being of the same age group, she grew up with us. We were close because it is impossible not to be (our house was once the duplex type) there was never a day that we did not see what kalokohan each of us we're doing. It was out of necessity because it was a whirlwind engagement so I never had the chance to think twice and just took charge. I was involved with every wedding detail imaginable, from the church arrangements to the design of the matchstick box the secondary sponsors are going to use for the candle ceremony. Ann was married September 9, 2000. I had my share of doing little stints after that, from ordered wedding invitations to hand-made unity candles to souvenirs as gifts of my mom for her inaanaks. I never ran out of ideas nor got tired of the charade, I was always perked up if its for a wedding, baptism or a mere birthday party. May 25th 2002, Raymond, Roann's brother, married Joycie at Saint Michael the Archangel Parish Church in San Miguel, Bulacan and like what I've done for Ann, I also orchestrated the entire event. Little did I know that this was my calling (amongst other things...) and that one day I will have my own bridal shop and be involved in the wedding planning business.

Since my business relies on referrals, it was at a slow but steady pace. I meet people who knows somebody that needs my services and it was passed on through word of mouth. I slowly developed a circle of close but faithful clients who helped me and my budding business grow. Brides would come to me for customized invitations, souvenirs, thematic wedding candles, gowns, bridal accessories upgrade and the likes. Last October of 2008, me and Mel (my partner both in life and in business) put up our bridal shop beside the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Church in Pinaod, San Ildefonso, Bulacan.

We have always envisioned helping brides in distress, give them the wedding they've always dreamed of at their prescribed budget. Not only do we hope to be the bride's best friend but also strive to be the groom's best bud to balance both their needs and wants on the most important day of their lives.

Our business is blessed because weddings are blessings. Though it's too soon to end our story, we hope that yours would end with a happily ever after...

our blessing from Dubai...

When my cousin based in Dubai sent me an e-mail saying that she is getting married, I was thrilled!!! I'm very excited as well because I've witnessed how she flourished from a little girl to a woman. After a series of e-mails that started November 2008 and a lot of planning and prayers, Eric and Airene were married June 13, 2009 at Saint Nicholas of Tolentine Church in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
The day was a mixture of joy and tears, hope and prayers, love and more love...
